Open doors activities and the event and dinner on Friday

We have ahead 3 days full of activities and celebrations and I'd like to share with you everything we have organized.

Actividades Puertas Abiertas

As for Friday, I just want to remind you that we'll be meeting at 6.30 at the Auditorium Joaquín Rodríguez and then we'll have dinner and dance until 2.00 am at the IES Burgo de las Rozas (Avda de España 141). Make sure you take with you the entrance ticket I gave you in class. Even if we changed the place of the celebration, the ticket is the same and it'll be requested for entrance.

EOIFITUR: INDIA

Next Wednesday in classroom 3 we will be able to listen to the NA1 students (group Monday- Wednesday) talking about India. Afterwards Manjula Balakrishnan will talk about Women in India: Past to Present.

You are all welcome!

Welcome to India

25th anniversary & celebration

Dear students,

As you already know, soon after Easter Holiday we'll celebrate the 25th anniversary of our school. Some of you have participated in different ways in the activities proposed and some could still be the winners of some of them. Who knows?

The Open Days will be on 7th and 8th May and different activities will take place along the 2 days. Some of you are preparing EOIFitur and also have joined the teams of Pasapalabra. I'm sure many people will enjoy what you are preparing.

On May 9th will be the big celebration. We'll meet at 6.00 p.m. at the Auditorio Joaquín Rodrigo to have a good time going through the story of the school, watching the best videos and photos and giving the prizes to the winners.

Then at 9 p.m. we will go to IES BURGO DE LAS ROZAS, (avd de España 141, in Las Rozas, next to Parque de Paris) to have dinner (picoteo & 2 drinks), to dance ceilidh (Scottish & Irish dancing) and to chat and dance as much as we want afterwards at the disco. The price of the ticket (all this included) is 17€ and you have to buy it in class. There aren't many left, so make sure that you reserve yours as soon as posible.

Actor required. URGENT!

Dear students,

As you already know, we are making arrangements and prepare everything to celebrate the 25th anniversary of our EOI Las Rozas.
One of the events is going to be a short multilingual play and they desperately need a male actor, aged between 20 and 45 (or a bit older if necessary) who speaks good English (any of you, advanced students could do it) and a bit of French.
They are going to rehearse on Fridays and I'm sure it'll be an excellent way to have fun and practise English, I mean, you can kill two birds with the same stone!

Come on, make your mind up and reply with a comment here urgently and I'll give details about it and I will put you in contact with the teacher who's organizing the play.

PARA TODOS LOS ALUMNOS DE LA EOI DE LAS ROZAS

¿Te gusta el teatro? ¿Alguna vez  te has sentido actor/actriz?

Entonces… ¡estás de enhorabuena!

Estamos haciendo un casting de alumnos- actores para el sketch que se representará en el 25 aniversario de la escuela   (puedes ver a continuación los perfiles).

¡Anímate,  da rienda suelta a tu creatividad y siente la adrenalina del teatro!

Podrás practicar la lengua de forma creativa y divertida y mejorarás la expresividad y la fluidez.

Se requiere soltura en el idioma, buena pronunciación, expresividad  y muchas ganas de pasarlo bien.

25th anniversary of our School

Dear students,

Probably you have already received some information about the big celebration we are organizing in May. Anyway, I'd like to post here the letter sent by our Headmistress, Blanca, and the terms and conditions for the logotype competition.

I also posted a link to the new blog created for students, ex-students, teachers and ex-teachers to comment on their experiences, memories, anecdotes, etc. Photos can also be sent to be published there.

I hope you participate actively in the celebration as it is OUR school and the students are our best "ingredient".
