Interview to Frank McCourt


Pulitzer Prize-winning author Frank McCourt talks with Dialogue host Marcia Franklin in 2002 about the power of memory, storytelling, teaching and writing. The author of "Angela's Ashes" also reflects on what it was like to win the Pulitzer Prize and the events of 9/11.

    - "you have to be learning while you are teaching. It's very suffered. All the senses have to work at the same time"

  4. What interesting interview!. Although difficult to follow because of the lack of movement in the McCourt's lips :-)

    In any case, I'll take with his mantra " If you're teaching and not learning you are not teaching".
